Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced food service setting, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is cooked safely and meets food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
Assist in food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination
Serve customers at the counter or in a dine-in setting with friendly and professional service
Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and service
Support team members during busy hours to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in the food industry, particularly with meal preparation or pizza making, is a plus
Strong understanding of serving customers with professionalism and efficiency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Concord, ON L4K 3B9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

Licence/Certification:

Food Handler Certification (required)
