Job Summary

Fishbone By The Lake, located in Stouffville and considered one of the Best patios in Ontario is searching for a Pizzaiolo.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
Cook pizzas in accordance with customer orders, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a focus on pizza making.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food service industry.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen.
Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
