onTrack Occupational Therapy Services (onTrack), a division of Santé Circle Health, is actively seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist with an interest in Industrial Occupational Therapy for immediate opportunities in Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario.
This role involves delivering onsite occupational therapy services within a local automotive manufacturing environment. As part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team including Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, and Medical and Orthopaedic professionals, you will support employees in optimizing their functionality, health, and overall well-being, with a focus on disability management, workplace accommodation, and return-to-work planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical, cognitive, and mental health assessments, and develop targeted treatment plans to support employees in remaining at work or achieving a safe and timely return-to-work.
- Perform workplace assessments and job demands analyses (physical, cognitive, and behavioural).
- Develop and recommend customized accommodation and return-to-work plans based on functional abilities.
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support employee health, safety, and wellness initiatives.
- Provide hand therapy services, including assessments, splinting, bracing, and taping.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Health & Safety) and external healthcare providers to coordinate care and obtain relevant medical and functional information.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic charting systems in accordance with professional standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registered, and in good standing, with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Demonstrated interest in industrial rehabilitation or occupational health settings.
- Experience with musculoskeletal injuries, chronic conditions, repetitive strain, concussion, or mental health conditions is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
