Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our legal team. This role provides vital support in managing real estate transactions, legal documentation, and client communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent research abilities, and a solid understanding of legal procedures related to real estate. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, supporting attorneys and clients through various stages of property transactions.

Duties

Drafting, proofreading, and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions
Assisting with project management tasks to ensure timely completion of transactions and filings
Coordinating interviews and communicating with clients, agents, and other stakeholders with professional phone etiquette
Performing data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records of legal documents and correspondence
Supporting attorneys with administrative tasks such as scheduling, document organization, and tracking deadlines
Assisting with the preparation of legal drafts and summaries for review by attorneys
Ensuring all documents are properly formatted, proofread, and compliant with legal standards

Experience

Prior administrative or clerical experience in a legal setting preferred
Familiarity with real estate law or property transactions is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence and legal documents
Proficiency in Unity and Lawyer Done Deal
Experience with project management software or systems is advantageous
Attention to detail in proofreading and data entry tasks is essential
Ability to demonstrate professionalism through phone etiquette and client interactions

This position is ideal for candidates who are proactive, meticulous, and eager to develop their career within the legal field specializing in real estate law.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
