Full job description

Overview
The Accounting department of Partners in Credit Inc. has an immediate full-time opening for a permanent Payment Processing Clerk. This position will work out of the Head Office location in Thornhill. The accounting department is a high-volume, fast paced department responsible for all incoming payments at the agency.

Duties

Processing payments made to Agency and ensure all required information has been correctly obtained and entered
Processing payments made to Clients and ensure all required information has been correctly obtained and entered
Depositing cheque payments
Assist in Reception Coverage
Data Entry
Other related duties as assigned

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
Aptitude with computer software programs utilized by the company
Excellent administrative skills
Good oral and written communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to self-motivate
Ability to work together with others
Excellent analytical, financial, and mathematical abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Extremely trustworthy and professionally-minded
Strong business and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma.
Knowledge of accounting principles
Must be able to work in office
