At InspireKids Centre for Child Development, we are not a volume-based clinic. We are a small, excellence-driven practice committed to delivering thoughtful, individualized, and compassionate ABA services.
We are seeking a highly experienced in-home ABA Therapist who values quality programming, meaningful client progress, and ongoing clinical growth. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about behaviour analysis, is completing graduate education and wants to deepen their skillset, work closely with RBAs, and be part of a collaborative, ethical team.
Candidates must be available to provide services in:
- In home services (Markham ON, Scarborough ON)
- After school hours and Weekends
As a Specialized In-Home ABA Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to implement Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy under the ongoing supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst/BCBA to support clients in improving social skills, enhancing communication skills, and reducing challenging or inappropriate behaviour.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions and implement individualized ABA treatment plans with supervision
· Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior modification strategies to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment goals
· Maintain detailed records of client progress through data collection, analysis and observation notes
· Maintain professional compassionate communication with families
· Stay current on best practices in ABA therapy through ongoing training and professional development
· Must be flexible to work daytime, evenings and weekend hours in home and community settings
Skills and Qualifications:
· A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field is MANDATORY
· ABA/Autism related Diploma/Certificate is an asset
· Previous experience working in an ABA clinical setting ( minimum 1+ year of experience is MANDATORY)
· 1+ year of experience working with early learners, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and behavioural challenges
· Excellent Proficiency in data collection and data analysis
· Knowledge of behaviour-analytic terminology and its application to behavioural intervention techniques and individualized behaviour treatment plans
· Ability to work in public school, home and daycare settings
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation/access to a vehicle is an asset
- BACB/CPBAO Supervision and Mentorship will be provided to qualified successful candidates.
Successful candidates are required to complete a criminal background check (with Vulnerable Sector)
