Job Summary
· Acts as the guardian for all FSQA processes and is responsible for monitoring, verifying, and executing these processes to the required standard (HACCP, internal audits, GMP enforcement, line verification, QC & retain sampling, document review, etc)
· Hold process owner
· Support with controlling, assessing, investigating, and resolving non-conformities
· External Audit preparation support
· Perform scheduled plant inspections (i.e. GMP, pre-op, glass/brittle plastic, CCP verification), report findings and track corrective actions
· Quality document filing & organizing
· Ownership of QA equipment and services: thermometer verification, tracking calibration dates, etc.
· Support the creation and revision of food safety procedures under the guidance of management
· Support implementation and training of new or modified processes or changes
· Preparing reports, analyzing trends, recommending improvements
· Fill in vacation coverage for Quality Technicians as required
· Serve as backup for pre-operational and sanitation verification tasks as required
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 1-3 years experience in food manufacturing environment
· Background in food quality and safety standards preferred (HACCP, GMP)
· Post-secondary Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in food safety/quality related field
· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
· Excellent communication ability – written and verbal

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
