Technical Sales Representative – Vacuum, Gas Flow and Containment Technologies

CCR is a well-established leader in vacuum, gas flow and containment technologies supporting Canadian research, semiconductor and other advanced manufacturing environments.
Our Process Products division is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support customers within these markets. The role focuses on engineered and technical product solutions including vacuum systems, gas delivery, analytical instrumentation, gloveboxes, and related technologies.
This is an opportunity for a technically credible sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, solving complex customer challenges, and building long-term client relationships within highly specialized environments.
We are particularly interested in individuals who bring experience with vacuum processes or related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Sell and support products related to vacuum systems, gas delivery, analytical instrumentation, gloveboxes, and engineered process solutions
- Develop relationships with engineers, scientists, facilities teams, operations leaders, procurement groups, and technical decision-makers
- Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical solutions and product configurations
- Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and application-level support
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation
- Manage opportunities from prospecting and qualification through closing and post-sale support
- Coordinate with manufacturers and internal technical resources
- Maintain customer activity, forecasting, and pipeline management within CRM systems
- Stay current with product developments, industry trends, and customer applications
- Attend customer meetings, technical events, and trade shows as required
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Industrial Technology, or related technical discipline preferred
- Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, industrial sales, instrumentation, process systems, engineered equipment, or related technical environments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and credibly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills
- Comfortable working independently within a home-based territory role
- Strong organizational, presentation, and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
