POSITION TITLE:
Customer Service Representative , Overhead Doors, Commercial/Residential
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for building relationships and identifying the prospect’s need for our products or services, specifically for overhead doors.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Relationship building with new prospects and existing customers
- A natural people-person with a likable personality
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, organizational skills
- Relate to a broad and varied customer base
- A Strong working knowledge of business communication methods such as telephone and email etiquette, professional letter formats and styles
- Awareness of product and promotion. Communicate and inform customer of options/promotions/etc
- Responsible for preparing estimates for new work and ensures that pricing is accurate, professional and within company guidelines for installations and service.
- Maintain efficiency within service/installation department and with office staff.
Responsibilities:
*Answer phones to answer customer inquiries and set up work orders
*Answer phones to handle technician completions and dispatching
*Accurately manage assigned city and run that schedule during shift
*Type in notes of calls and create/complete work orders
*Take upset customer calls and handle them appropriately or get with appropriate managers
*Work closely with city managers to make sure all complaints/inquiries handled appropriately
*Must be able to quickly learn and become accustomed to our field of work
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required:
- Must be familiar with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Email, Excel, Accounting Software.
- 2-3 years prior Customer Service experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to build rapport and build trust quickly
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced environment and is subject to interruptions. Duties may require driving and sitting for long periods of time. Occasional need to drive a vehicle to other work locations.
