Full job description

ABOUT US…

Halton Crushed Stone is an aggregate supplier of crushed limestone, sand and gravel and is a part of the Crupi Group of Companies, which has been a family-operated road construction company since 1951.

Responsibilities and position details:

Must have prior experience operating a production & shipping loader with scales (typically CAT 980 or equivalent).
Responsible for coordinating with Dispatch in regards to quantities of limestone material into and out of the yard.
Responsible for efficiently optimizing & operating the loader, screening plant for routine production, while utilizing any stackers, generators and associated equipment as required.
Responsible for general maintenance, housekeeping (yard, trailer, plants, equipment), labour, and ongoing daily site clean-up.
Responsible to communicate effectively with drivers, the scale personnel, customers, and the Production & Facilities Manager.
Routine electronic/paper reporting including but not limited to: equipment inspections, fuel reports, and circle checks.
Shifts are Monday-Friday and are typically 6:00am-4:00pm (additional hours may be required based upon business demands), and winter hours may be reduced/seasonal layoff may occur.
Ability to print scale tickets is also an asset.
