Our client, who specialize in touchless biometric identification using face recognition and temperature detection to enhance security, health, and productivity for businesses, is currently looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join their growing team.
In this role, you will report to the Commercial Manager and will be responsible to work with the market and regions to ensure sales operational processes are aligned. Staying abreast of company product roadmap, reporting any commercial & market requirements to the relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Managing end to end sales backend activities: Booking of order, collection of payment or reminders to clients.
- Coordinate pre-sales and after-sales activities between customers and sales team.
- Processing sales orders received from the customers and other routine activities.
- Answers phone calls from customers and deals with problems as they arise.
- Follows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with the product(s)
- Updates all contact information for clients.
- Primary response point of contact for all sales related communications including calls, messages, emails from customer.
- Respond to Online enquiries through company’s website or any-authorized source.
- Manage queries and escalation of queries to sales manager for 2nd level support on handled processes & tasks.
- Report the status of the queries and advise the sales team on opportunities in pipeline.
- Prepare dashboards, data analytics and presentations for Senior executives' discussions.
- Review Sales Order Forms and send it to dispatch department.
- Send dispatch docket details to client and handle all related queries.
- Follow up with client for timely receipt of order in good condition.
- Ensure all Orders are approved within pricing and discount policies.
- Co-ordinate with finance and plant for timely dispatch of material for existing customers.
- Take order follow-ups with the production team.
- Does sales order- tracking delivery and maintain MIS for department.
- Update customers on the status of orders.
- Should be able to handle dispatches from plant to customer single-handedly.
- Coordinate with finished goods inventory/dispatch department for timely dispatch of orders to the client.
- Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
- Support the sales staff, when they are in field by providing data, documents, etc. per their request.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
- Minimum 4 – 7 years of progressive experience as a Sales Operations Executive in an IT Product organization or Manufacturing organization.
- Clear and measurable experience in managing processes effectively with strong results orientation is essential.
- Previous experience in a sales support role such as operations, pre-sales or commercially orientated client success role.
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Exposure in using ERP like Visual. (Desirable)
- Good knowledge of sales process.
- Experience in using Salesforce.
- Ability to work cross-teams and towards tight deadlines.
- Comfortable operating independently and across teams in an evolving and matrix environment
- Flexible mindset is required as this is a growing business that could pivot at any time so nimble thinking and flexibility to change approaches is required.
- Excellent communication skills, cross functional experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to strongly partner with and advise senior sales leaders, as well as have strong cross-functional skills.
- You will be able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Results and detail oriented with the ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
- Ability to adopt process changes.
- Team Player with positive attitude ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to put together a commercially appealing presentation would be an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of VLOOKUP and Pivot Table etc.
