Bayside Salon & Spa is located CF Shops at Don Mills mall. next to the Bridle Path, the most prestigious luxury residential area in Toronto, With convenient transportation, we are easily accessible by bus and subway. Bayside Salon & Spa is a large, full-service salon offering hair, nail, beauty, and medical aesthetic services, covering an area of 5,700 square feet with luxurious décor, providing our staff with the best working experience. Our clientele is of high calibre and offers generous tips. Our mission is to create an excellent working environment for our employees while helping them achieve higher income.We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in hair nails facial skin care and more, while also contributing to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients’ preferences and offering professional advice on hair care and styling.
Communicate effectively with clients to build rapport and ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling payments.
Promote salon products and services through upselling techniques to enhance client experience and increase sales.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience.
Retail sales experience is preferred, particularly in beauty or personal care industries.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
