Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / swamper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. The Driver will also assist in warehouse operations as needed, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization of materials.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely when necessary.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports for tracking purposes.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Experience in warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but can be obtained after hiring if necessary.
A good driving record with no major violations is essential.
