Full job description

As our Operations Manager, you are the backbone of our tour execution. You will oversee daily operations, manage partner relationships, and ensure every itinerary runs like clockwork. Your goal is simple: maximize efficiency, protect our margins, and ensure our travelers have the time of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Tour Orchestration: Oversee the end-to-end logistics of scheduled tours, including transportation, accommodation, local guides, and activities.
Vendor & Partner Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with global vendors (hotels, transport providers, local operators) to ensure competitive pricing and top-tier service.
Quality Control: Continuously monitor and audit tour quality, gathering feedback from tour directors and guests to refine itineraries.
Crisis Management: Act as the escalation point for real-time issues on the road (e.g., weather delays, cancellations) and implement swift, creative solutions.
Budgeting & Financial Tracking: Manage operational budgets, track tour expenses, and find opportunities to optimize costs without sacrificing the guest experience.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and schedule a small team of coordinators and on-the-ground tour leads.

Who You Are

An Experienced Logician: You have 3–5+ years of experience in operations management, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
A Natural Problem Solver: You don’t sweat when Plan A fails. You already have Plan B ready and Plan C in mind.
A Master Negotiator: You know how to build win-win partnerships and advocate for the best value.
Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable using booking engines, CRM software, project management tools (like Asana or Monday.com), and Excel/Google Sheets.
Culturally Agile: You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable working with diverse, global teams and vendors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42,000.00-$999,999.00 per year
