Full job description

RINX Toronto is an entertainment complex equipped ice rinks and interactive attractions. RINX specializes in Ice Hockey Bookings, Kids Birthday Parties, School and Camp Outings, Adult/Corporate Events and Special Events.

We are currently looking for an accounting/administrative assistant to help our head accountant with various day to day accounting tasks.

Responsibilities/Duties Include:

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general customer inquiries by phone and email.
Book facility rentals using the reservation management system and send confirmations to clients.
Enter invoices, receipts, and financial information into QuickBooks.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Process and maintain accurate records of customer payments.
Provide general administrative and office support as required.

Skills Required :

Experience using reservation or booking management software is an asset.
Diploma or post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
Understanding of basic bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Experience working in a hotel, entertainment facility, sports facility, or other customer-facing reservation-based business is an asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is an asset.
Full-time position (5 shifts per week) Monday to Friday daytime shifts.
