Job Overview

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and testing software applications across various platforms using languages such as Java, Python, C/C++, Rust or JavaScript.
Support front-end development tasks to create engaging user interfaces with HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Contribute to back-end development by working with databases like MySQL or SQL Server and implementing APIs using RESTful principles.
Collaborate with team members in Agile environments to plan sprints, review code, and improve software quality using tools like GitHub, Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.
Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting activities to ensure robust and efficient software solutions.
Gain experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications.
Document development processes and technical specifications clearly for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Ruby on Rails or front-end libraries.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, or VBA.
Basic understanding of databases like MySQL or SQL Server and experience working with SQL queries.
Exposure to application development concepts including APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), REST protocols, and software development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile.
Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN is preferred.
Knowledge of Linux operating systems and cloud services like AWS or Azure is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
