Ground Maintenance Team Leader

Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field mowing lawns, looking after flower beds, etc.
- Experience in the snow removal field is an asset; willing to train
- Valid G driver's license
- Have their own transportation (yard not located near public transit)
- Knowledge/Expertise of snow blowers and deicing materials
- Knowledge/Expertise of lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers
- Reliable and Motivated
- Enjoy working outdoors under various weather conditions including snow, rain, freezing rain, sunshine, etc.
Summer months are a steady Monday – Friday with some Saturday work scheduled but can be weather dependent at times.
During the winter months’ applicants must be available on-call to work 24/7 meaning you may be called out at any time day or night as this position is weather dependent. You may be required to report to work within 1 hours’ notice although we try to give you as much notice as possible.
Compensation:
Wages starting at $25.00/Hour Plus winter incentive bonus
Winter bonus paid out at end of April $3.00 per hour for every hour worked on snow shifts without missed shifts, damage to property or machines
Average 50 hours per week in the Summer.
