Job Description: Landscape Maintenance Supervisor - “Maintenance Captain”
- Perform landscape maintenance & enhancements ie , trimming, pruning, garden care, turf care etc.
- leadership, support, and training for maintenance team
- training: equipment use, horticultural decisions, site mgmt, team mgmt.
- team building and coaching
- onboarding
- direction and procedures
- crew & route changes
- tailgate safety meetings
- vehicle and equipment maintenance & inventory
- material inventory
- yard organization and housekeeping
- customer service
- administration and reporting
- Other tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Full position Minimum 10 years of Landscape Maintenance Experience
- In training potion 5-7 years of Maintenance Supervision Experience
- Strong Landscaping and Horticultural knowledge required
- Strong communication skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Coaching or teaching skills are an asset
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excel, Outlook, Word, database skills required
- Customer service experience an asset
- Landscape Certification or Diploma an asset
- Clean G Licence required
- Snow plowing experience an asset
- Skidsteer skills an asset
