Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes and standards, ensuring timely service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and high quality.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients.
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving guests and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed.
