Job Summary

Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician, where your passion for animal care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. In this vital role, you’ll assist veterinarians with medical procedures, provide compassionate patient care, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive, efficient environment that promotes health and well-being for every animal that walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

Prepare animals for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and calm.
Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
Collect and process laboratory samples, perform diagnostic tests, and maintain accurate records of results.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures to ensure patient safety.
Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health practices.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments, exam rooms, and treatment areas to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.

Requirements

Proven laboratory experience with sample collection, testing, and analysis.
Certification or licensing as a veterinary technician or equivalent credential preferred.
Strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and common veterinary practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals and their well-being.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
