Looking to hire an Athletic Therapist or Kinesiologist —
Passionate about helping people move better, heal and get stronger?....
We are looking for an ambitious Athletic Therapist or Kinesiologist to join our team within the Movement Space at Origin Integrated Health in Comox, B.C. — a collaborative, integrated environment where clinical care and active rehab work hand in hand.

What you will do:

Assess patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs
Provide therapeutic interventions which may including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques
Lead 1-2 classes a week if certified to do so
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records for all patient interactions
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
Educate patients on injury prevention, health maintenance, and recovery strategies

∙ Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C)) or Registered Kinesiologist
∙ Genuinely passionate about the job and about helping people
∙ A self-starter who takes initiative without needing to be micromanaged
∙ Ambitious — someone who wants to grow their skills and their caseload
∙ An asset if comfortable teaching and leading classes, not just one-on-one sessions
∙ Thrives working as part of a collaborative team

The Clinic

We have a beautiful boutique gym space where all the physical rehab and classes take place within Origin Integrated Health clinic in Comox. Services offered at the clinic also include: Chiropractic, Athletic Therapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, Naturopathic Doctor, Laser, Shockwave, exercise rehabilitation and yoga/rehab classes.

Position details

Hiring for 1-2 full or part time position. 2 days -5 days a week. 10-30 hrs.
Flexible hours and the support of our front desk administrative team and the use of Jane for booking and Momence for classes.
You will also have access to the equipment in the gym/rehab space.
Compensation for this role is a competitive percentage-based income split. Open to negotiations depending on experience and if you are bringing a caseload or not.
We offer some evenings and Saturday appointments if desired, virtual and home visits, online booking and direct billing to insurance companies and ICBC.
If trained to do so, you can run fitness/yoga/rehab classes as well in the space.
NEW GRADS -I also offer 1 on 1 Mentorship in your trade and as you build your caseload with us, free education nights and tools to grow your practice fast (This is unusual for clinics to offer)
