Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various cutting and machining processes, possess mechanical aptitude, and be committed to producing high-quality components. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to precision manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment. While experience in cutting is an asset, it is not necessary.

Duties

Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for quality inspection and verification of parts.
Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to handle heavy materials to and from work station and around the shop is a MUST.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to manufacturing tasks.
Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices effectively.
Prior experience in manufacturing or machining environments is preferred.
Good understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and material handling. We value precision, safety consciousness, and teamwork in our production environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.5 per week
