We’re growing and looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality building projects.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer who wants to be hands-on in real projects, not just behind a desk.
As the Engineer of Record (EOR) for electrical systems, you will:
- Lead and take ownership of electrical design across multi-unit building projects
- Work directly with internal teams and construction sites
- Influence real-world outcomes from design through to commissioning
We’re looking for strong building engineering experience and someone comfortable taking responsibility for stamped designs.
What You’ll Do
- Act as Engineer of Record for electrical systems on building projects
- Prepare, review, and seal drawings, specifications, and reports
- Lead electrical design including:
- Power distribution systems
- Lighting and controls
- Emergency and life safety systems
- Coordinate with internal and external teams:
- Mechanical, structural, architectural, and construction teams
- Provide construction-phase support:
- Site visits
- RFIs and clarifications
- Field reviews and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with: Provincial codes and standards, Safety regulations and best practices
- Mentor and oversee work completed by junior staff or external consultants
What We’re Looking For
- P.Eng. in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or Ontario
- We will support licensing in other provinces if needed
- 5+ years of experience in building electrical design
- Experience in an Engineer of Record role
- Strong understanding of Multi-unit residential or commercial building systems
- Comfortable working in a design-build environment
- Willing to engage with project teams and visit sites as needed
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with multi-unit residential, long-term care, or institutional buildings
- Exposure to fast-track or design-build project delivery

- Comfortable working in a design-build environment
- Willing to engage with project teams and visit sites as needed

- Experience with multi-unit residential, long-term care, or institutional buildings
- Exposure to fast-track or design-build project delivery
- Familiarity with prefabrication or modular construction
