Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions across various departments. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage office operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Drive, and QuickBooks.
Handle filing, document proofreading, and general clerical tasks to ensure smooth office workflow
Support bookkeeping and basic financial tasks related to billing and invoicing
Assist with customer support and client inquiries, providing excellent service and support
Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendars for staff members
Maintain organized office supplies inventory and order necessary items as needed

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping practices
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
Experience in clerical roles such as filing, data entry, and proofreading
Customer service experience with a focus on customer support and front desk responsibilities
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment
Prior landscape office experience is a plus but not required
Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed
