Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fundraising and Philanthropy Coordinator to join our organization. This role is vital in developing and executing strategies to secure funding, foster donor relationships, and support our mission through effective fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with databases, and a passion for community engagement. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative environment committed to social change.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain fundraising databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor information.
Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote fundraising events and initiatives.
Coordinate donor outreach efforts, including thank-you letters, follow-up communications, and stewardship activities to strengthen relationships.
Conduct research on potential donors, grant opportunities, and community partners to expand funding sources.
Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and special projects aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate with team members to create compelling proposals and reports for donors and stakeholders.
Monitor fundraising progress and prepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
Provide excellent customer service to donors, volunteers, and internal teams to ensure positive engagement experiences.
Manage social media accounts including responding to inquiries related to donations and development and execution of social media campaigns

Skills

Proficiency with databases systems for managing donor information.
Strong marketing skills with experience in creating promotional materials and campaigns.
Excellent research abilities to identify new funding opportunities and partnerships.
Exceptional customer service skills to build lasting relationships with donors and community members.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. This position is integral to advancing our organization’s mission through strategic fundraising efforts. We seek a proactive individual passionate about philanthropy who can contribute innovative ideas while fostering strong community connections.

Pay: $29.00 per hour
