What You’ll Be Doing:

Event Specialist: Welcome guests with a warm smile, ensuring they feel like VIPs at every event, from weddings to corporate gatherings.
Service Expert: Set up banquet spaces with precision, serve meals and beverages professionally, and anticipate guest needs to create seamless dining experiences.
Presentation Pro: Ensure food and drinks are served with elegance, adhering to banquet standards and event timing.
Detail-Oriented Hero: Maintain clean and organized banquet spaces, reset tables, and follow health and safety protocols.
Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and banquet leadership to ensure events run smoothly.
Upsell Wizard: Confidently recommend additional items or upgrades, such as premium wine selections or signature cocktails, to elevate the guest experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience Preferred: Previous banquet or serving experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train enthusiastic individuals.
Knowledgeable & Eager: Familiarity with food, wine, and cocktails—or a willingness to learn—is essential.
Customer Service Superstar: Strong communication skills and a passion for making guests feel special.
Professional & Composed: A friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Flexible Availability: Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physically Capable: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Certification Required: Serve Right Nova Scotia certification and Food Handlers certification.
