Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Full Time & Part Time Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team in Entwistle, Alberta, Our fall is getting busier and as a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Assist with groups, events and tournaments
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

2 Years of cooking knowledge preferred however will train the right candidate
Previous experience working in golf course environment a plus
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new culinary skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
