Your Opportunity to Support:

If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced municipal environment, we want to meet you! The Town of Drumheller is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and coordination support to the municipality’s Senior Leadership Team.

This role supports a wide range of administrative services, including document and report preparation, records management, meeting coordination, communications support, and Council report coordination. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Areas of Support:

· Senior Leadership Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Senior Leadership Team under the guidance of the Executive Assistant, CAO and Council.

· Document, Report & Correspondence Preparation: Draft, format, and distribute routine and confidential documents, correspondence, reports, agendas, briefing materials, and supporting documentation.

· Meeting & Calendar Coordination: Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings, prepare meeting materials, and assist with logistics for municipal meetings, events, and corporate activities.

· Council Report Coordination: Assist in the preparation, formatting, and coordination of Council meeting reports, including working with Directors and departments to gather information, track submissions, and meet reporting timelines.

· Records Management & Confidentiality: Maintain office systems, filing, records management, document control processes, and governance-related records in accordance with Town policies and corporate standards.

Position Details:

· Employment Category: temporary, full-time

· Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

· Compensation: $24.95 per hour
