Role Overview
The Drywall Repair Technician is responsible for completing residential drywall repair, finishing and painting jobs from start to finish.
This role requires strong drywall finishing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally inside customer homes.
You will be responsible for delivering clean, high-quality repairs that are ready for paint and invisible once completed.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform drywall repairs in residential homes
- Patch holes and damaged drywall
- Board small drywall areas when required
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall repairs
- Sand surfaces to paint-ready finish
- Match existing textures when required
- Prime and paint repaired areas
- Protect customer homes and maintain clean workspaces
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Submit job photos when required (cell phone/data required)
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Quality of drywall finish
- Customer satisfaction and reviews
- Efficiency completing repair jobs
- Clean job site practices
- Professionalism with homeowners
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in drywall patching and finishing
- Ability to produce smooth, paint-ready finishes
- Experience with interior painting
- Experience with Texture based coatings is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional and respectful in customer homes
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently
- Valid driver's license
