We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team in a key role supporting customers, quotations, project coordination, and day-to-day operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning a specialized technical industry. While experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an asset, we are willing to train the right person who brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Prepare quotations and provide pricing and technical information
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Coordinate information between customers, suppliers, and our fabrication team
- Follow up on quotations and customer requests
- Assist with project coordination, purchasing, and scheduling activities
- Maintain accurate customer and job records using Sage 50 and related systems
- Support the team in a variety of administrative and operational tasks
What We're Looking ForRequired
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Experience in customer service, inside sales, estimating, project coordination, or order desk roles
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, industrial, mechanical, or construction-related environments
- Experience with Sage 50 Quantum Canada, QuickBooks, or other ERP/accounting software
- Experience reading technical drawings
- Familiarity with AutoCAD
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial equipment and process piping systems
