Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for managing online sales inquiries, lead engagement, and converting leads into appointments and sales effectively. The individual will assist with the full sales process from first contact through to vehicle delivery, providing exceptional customer support, ensuring compliance and accuracy, and supporting the sales team's continuous development.

Primary Responsibilities

Monitor lead activity, respond to sales inquiries from the website, Facebook, and Instagram, and schedule in-store or virtual appointments.
Guide customers through the full sales process, including vehicle selection, trade-in evaluations, test drives, financing options, and payment collection.
Meet daily outreach targets and follow up on pending deals to generate sales.
Collaborate with the Finance team to review credit applications and ensure deals are funded efficiently and promptly.
Assist in achieving and maintaining monthly sales goals.
Participate in marketing efforts through text, email, and call campaign strategies.
Follow up with past customers to encourage repeat business and referral opportunities.

Qualifications

Automotive sales, finance, and customer service experience.
Strong understanding of automotive financing, lender programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a results-oriented environment.
Proficient with CRM systems, digital communication tools, and automotive finance platforms.
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 6 months of high-pressure automotive sales experience.
AMVIC licence or willingness to obtain one.
Self-motivated, coachable, and results-oriented.
Comfortable building trust with credit-challenged or subprime customers.

Compensation

100% commission-based compensation structure
Estimated annual earnings potential: CAD $36,000 – $99,000
