About the Role

Westrich Construction Alberta Ltd. is looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing & Graphic Designer to support the execution of our company’s marketing strategy across corporate and project-specific initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to work within a well-established brand identity, can take ownership of rolling out marketing initiatives and campaigns, and has strong graphic design capabilities.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with management, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure marketing initiatives are executed professionally, consistently, and on schedule. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and taking initiatives from concept through to execution.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management & Graphic Design

Work within and maintain the company’s established brand identity across all marketing materials and platforms.
Ensure brand consistency across corporate and regional-specific marketing.
Create professional, high-quality graphic design materials for digital and print applications.
Design advertisements, brochures, menus, presentations, invitations, signage, social media graphics, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
Adapt existing brand standards to new projects, campaigns, events, and initiatives.
Coordinate with printers, signage companies, agencies, and other external vendors to ensure materials are produced accurately and to brand standards.
Maintain organized libraries of brand assets, photography, logos, templates, and marketing materials.

Marketing Initiatives & Campaign Execution

Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives from planning through launch.
Develop marketing materials and campaign assets for new projects, launches, announcements, events, and ongoing promotions.
Manage marketing calendars, deadlines, deliverables, and campaign schedules.
Coordinate advertising across digital, print, outdoor, social media, and other relevant channels.
Work with management to translate marketing objectives into clear campaigns and deliverables.
Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
Ensure marketing initiatives are completed on time and aligned with overall company objectives.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

Coordinate the creation, launch, and ongoing management of project and corporate websites.
Work with website developers and other external partners to ensure websites remain current, functional, and consistent with brand standards.
Coordinate digital advertising and lead-generation campaigns for upcoming and active projects.
Manage landing pages, contact forms, calls to action, and other lead-generation tools.
Monitor website traffic, digital advertising, lead sources, and campaign performance.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve lead generation and marketing effectiveness.

Social Media & Content

Manage corporate social media accounts.
Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
Create graphics, posts, stories, reels, and other social content.
Coordinate photography and video content for projects, company announcements, events, and campaigns.
Work with videographers and photographers to organize shoots, develop concepts, and ensure final content aligns with the brand.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across social platforms.

Project Marketing & Signage

Coordinate marketing requirements for new and existing projects.
Design and coordinate project signage, including construction signage, billboards, banners, and promotional displays.
Coordinate store launches, and other promotional initiatives.

Events & Corporate Marketing

Design invitations and promotional materials for corporate and project events.
Assist with planning and coordinating launches, community events, charitable initiatives, and other company functions.
Coordinate event signage, presentations, printed materials, photography, video, and social media coverage.
Support corporate communications and other marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or a hybrid role
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Experience designing content for social media and digital marketing campaigns
Understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Canva, or similar design tools
Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics
Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
Knowledge of social media analytics and digital advertising
Experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.)
