Residential Framer / Framing Carpenter – Full Time

Verity Construction is hiring full-time Residential Framers / Framing Carpenters for steady long-term work on large residential subdivisions in the Westshore area (Langford and Colwood). Our sites are well organized with clear plans, material staging, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Experienced framers who can assist with layout, lead small crews, or take responsibility for sections of a house are encouraged to apply.
We are looking for reliable individuals who show up on time, work hard, and take direction from the foreman.
Responsibilities
- Frame single-family homes and townhouses
- Layout and build walls, floors, and roof systems
- Install engineered floor systems, beams, and structural components
- Read and follow construction drawings and layouts
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all site safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
- Experience in residential framing
- Applicants should have experience framing houses or townhomes and be comfortable working on production residential sites
- Experience reading framing plans and completing wall and floor layout is a strong asset
- Ability to show up on time every day
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to take direction and communicate with the team
- Ability to perform physical construction work
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willing to work overtime when required
