What You’ll Do (Key Duties & Responsibilities)

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, fluid leaks, tire wear, and other maintenance needs.
Top up or replace essential vehicle fluids (engine oil, coolant, washer fluid, etc.).
Replace air filters, wiper blades, light bulbs, and other minor components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and inform the Service Advisor of any issues or findings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and shop area.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations.
Ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist other technicians or service team members as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members to support a smooth and efficient workflow.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in automotive maintenance or as a lube technician is preferred but not required. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
Valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract is required.
Clean background check.
Basic automotive knowledge and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service field.
Must be able to work Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly: CA$18-$22 per hour (depending on experience / qualifications)
Health care benefits provided after 3‑month probation period.
RRSP program with 2% employer match after 1 year of service.

schedule & Work Location

Regular shifts Monday through Friday and every other Saturday; availability on weekends as needed.
This is an in‑person role based at our dealership in Exeter, ON (N0M 1S1). Reliable commute or relocation is expected.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 – 46.5 per week
