Residential Electrical Project Consultant

Salary: $70,000-$95,000

The Opportunity
Jaydens Mechanical is looking for an ambitious and motivated Residential Electrical Project Consultant to join our
growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting customers, estimating projects, and helping
homeowners find the right solutions for their electrical needs.
From new custom homes and residential subdivisions to renovations, service upgrades, standby generators, EV
chargers, and other electrical improvements, you'll be the face of our residential electrical division.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners, builders, and contractors to discuss upcoming projects.
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential electrical work.
- Estimate projects ranging from small service calls and renovations to complete custom homes and
residential developments.
- Promote and grow sales of Generac/B&S standby generators, EV chargers, service upgrades, lighting, and
other residential electrical solutions.
- Follow up on estimates and convert opportunities into awarded projects.
- Develop relationships with builders, developers, real estate professionals, and homeowners.
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure projects are successfully transitioned from sale to
construction with quality and confidence.
- Assist our marketing and sales team with promotions, community events, home shows, and initiatives that
strengthen the Jaydens Mechanical brand.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute ideas that help grow our residential division.
- Maintain accurate customer and project information using company software
Qualifications
- Experience estimating residential construction or electrical projects is preferred.
- Electrical trade experience or a strong understanding of residential electrical systems is considered a major
asset.
- Proven sales experience with the ability to build trust and close opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to grow the business.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the rest of the team.
- Valid driver's licence and clean abstract.
