Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations at the front of house, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of customer service. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, streamline service processes, and ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently met. Responsibilities

Supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and food runners, ensuring smooth daily operations
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper hygiene standards
Manage POS systems such as Micros to process orders accurately and efficiently
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining high quality standards
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a strong, motivated team
Train staff on service protocols, food safety practices, POS usage, and hospitality standards
Monitor cash handling procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately
Enforce health and safety regulations across the front of house area
Support restaurant management in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance

Qualifications

Proven supervising or leadership experience within the food service or restaurant industry
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling techniques
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on hospitality excellence
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; certification preferred
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Previous restaurant management or hotel experience is advantageous
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
Demonstrated ability to interview potential candidates effectively and contribute to team development
