Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder to join our manufacturing team.

This role involves performing precise welding and fabrication tasks to produce high-quality components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various fabrication tools and techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on manufacturing of high end consumer goods where perfection and precision is key. Job variety is constantly changing with new ideas and customer needs.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and hand tools for shaping and assembling metal components
Use calipers, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to measure, cut, and assemble parts accurately
Rigging components for lifting using cranes or forklifts while adhering to safety protocols
Conduct welding on fine finish mild steel items, structural steel, or other metal assemblies as specified in project plans
Assist with assembly processes, including fitting parts according to schematics and blueprints
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines at all times

Skills

Proficiency in MIG and perhaps future TIG welding techniques with demonstrated experience in fabrication environments
Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, machining, and construction processes
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Experience operating plasma cutters, press brake machines, forklifts, cranes, and power tools
Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts
Knowledge of calipers, hand tools, basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Understanding of manufacturing standards related to ductwork and structural fabrication
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

This role is vital for ensuring the quality and precision of our fabricated products. We welcome candidates with a strong work ethic who are eager to contribute their skills in welding and fabrication.

Currently seeking someone highly skillfull and precise in their welding and finish work.

Not seeking temporary, rig welders or structural at this time as this posting is for high end product production primarily.

Local within a 45 minute commute please only.

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
