About us

Lifemax Occupational Therapy Inc offers contracted OT and PT services to rural "public health" sites and private care organizations. We recognize that Allied Health services are essential to every Albertan, and that all communities deserve access to these essential services. When sites are unable to hire regular employees, they partner with Lifemax OT to ensure their budget dollars are prudently spent and their community receives the critical care they expect and deserve.

Our mission is to provide high-value, skilled OT and PT services to sites and communities while offering reliable opportunities, excellent clinical experiences, and generous remuneration to awesome therapists.

Location note:

These opportunities typically require 1 or more hours of travel from Red Deer, Edmonton, or Calgary. Overnight travel, if required offers increased flexibility and additional hours. Travel time and mileage are fully compensated and accommodations are reimbursed.

Who we're looking for

We're seeking dynamic, experienced Occupational Therapists who are able to work with a high degree of efficiency and independence. Contracts involve providing high-priority "public health" OT interventions in under-served rural communities. Service areas include acute care, home care, ambulatory outpatients, and continuing care. Job duties vary per site, and can be matched to your interests and skill set.

8-hour day shifts are typically required (not casual or per-client referrals). Additional hours are often available. Work schedules are flexible and negotiable, but full weekdays of availability is required.

AADL authorizer status and electronic charting experience (ConnectCare, PointClickCare) is preferred.

We will not consider applications from therapists with a provisional license.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6-36 months

Pay: $50.00-$72.00 per hour
