Full job description

The Gear Centre Group is looking for a Part-Time Autobody & Automotive Repair Technician to join our team in Edmonton. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys a variety of work, including autobody repairs and general automotive repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform autobody repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and body alignment.
Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, filling, and masking.
Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance as required.
Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues.
Replace and repair vehicle components, including lights, mirrors, bumpers, and trim.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Autobody Technician, Automotive Service Technician, or in a similar role.
Automboddy certification is an asset but not required.
Experience with both autobody and general automotive repairs is preferred.
Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is an asset.
