Automotive Detailer required for Riverview Ford Lincoln

The Job: The Automotive Detailer is responsible for delivering the highest standards in presentation by maintaining the cleanliness of new vehicles, used vehicles and customer vehicles. The successful candidate will be a motivated, customer-focused, energetic and results-driven individual with two years' experience as an Automotive Detailer with the ability to:
- Clean vehicle exteriors by hand, brush or by washing equipment
- Polish, dry and clean vehicle windshields, windows, lights, mats and exterior body
- Vacuum, shampoo, add air freshener and clean vehicle interior (some stain removal may be required)
- Cleaning, protecting, and preserving vehicle interiors (i.e. carpet and upholstery, dash and console, door panels, mirrors, glove compartment) and exteriors (i.e. wheels/tires/wheel wells, lower body panels, front grill/bumper) as well as cleaning engine compartments
- Inspect body and refinish repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the delivery process; advise production supervisor as required
- Perform basic maintenance checks: antenna, under the hood, inside the vehicle, inside the trunk, and outside vehicle
- Maintains quality service by following Riverview Ford quality standards, conducting final inspection and correcting deficiencies
- Work area is to be kept clean by sweeping and daily emptying of garbage containers
- Maintain a clean and orderly production area throughout the workday, ensuring a final clean up at the end of the day
The Qualifications required:
- Previous working experience as a Detailer is an asset….willing to train high potential Candidates
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract report.
- Able to effectively communicate: verbally, in writing and listening.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Post-Secondary diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work occasional Saturday's as required
- Results driven with a customer focus
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both in a team setting & independently
