Job Overview

Join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be part of the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are spotless and ready for use. This energetic position offers an opportunity to be part of a lively Pub setting, supporting culinary excellence and exceptional guest experiences. Your dedication to cleanliness and organization will help create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.

Duties

Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup
Support the kitchen team by managing waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service
Monitor dishwashing machinery for proper operation and report any maintenance needs promptly

Requirements

Prior experience is is an asset,but, we are willing to train.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
Strong organizational skills to keep work areas tidy and supplies well-stocked
Basic understanding of kitchen operations including food handling and preparation support
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting busy service environments
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
