Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry operations, maintaining spotless linens and towels, and supporting the overall cleanliness of our facility. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming environment that guests love to return to. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, cleaning, and laundry services while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Duties

Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment with precision and care
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established standards
Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and laundry machinery
Restock linen closets and assist with inventory management of laundry supplies
Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens for guest rooms
Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation, hygiene, and quality control to uphold guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous hotel experience or familiarity with hospitality environments is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of laundry processes, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless and well-organized
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding instructions
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
