We're now taking applications for a Small Engine Technician/Yard Person!

Job Description

Perform diagnostic maintenance repairs, including but not limited to:

Rebuilding and overhauling two-stroke and four-stroke engines, generators, pumps, garden tractors, grass-cutting equipment, snow blowers, chainsaws, chippers, etc.
Prepare estimates.
Help customers with loading and unloading equipment
Deliveries as required
Basic yard maintenance

Job Requirements

Must be mechanically inclined.
Shows attention to detail, initiative, and diligence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and conscientious.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to meet important deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Physically able to work in a shop environment for extended periods (lifting, bending, squatting, crouching, reaching).
Must be able to tolerate dusty, noisy, and odorous conditions with appropriate safety precautions.

Education & Experience

Experience in Small Engine Repair is a MUST. 3-5 years.
Knowledgeable with computers.
Customer service experience is an asset.

Wage dependent on experience - Class 5 drivers license required.

Occasional Saturdays required during summer.
