Job Summary
The Corporate Senior Living Advisor is a crucial role within our senior living community. The primary focus of the Senior Living Advisor is to drive occupancy growth through a combination of sales, marketing and fostering community engagement initiatives. The role builds meaningful relationships with perspective residents, families, referral sources, and community partners through outreach, networking, events and marketing activities. The Senior Living Advisor guides prospects through the decision-making process, ensuring an exceptional service experience and supporting the residence’s occupancy and revenue objectives. The successful candidate will possess an excellent combination of interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, sales acumen, marketing, data and results driven orientation, and a genuine passion for serving the needs of seniors and their families.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
· Proven experience in multi-site consultative sales, marketing, event coordination and community outreach, preferably in the senior living industry.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
· Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
· Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
· Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
· An affinity for the senior population and a good understanding of their needs.
· Familiarity with or willing to become familiar with the standards set out in the Retirement Homes Act, 2010 (RHA) and the function of the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority (RHRA).
· Demonstrated face to face sales and business development skills with the ability to identify opportunities and convert leads in-to move ins
· Demonstrated knowledge of the community and the geographic regions near the home.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Good communication skills; both oral and written. Good public relation skills.
· Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Strong Multi Tasking with the ability to communicate and work in a team environment
· Valid G driver’s license is required
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Outreach and Relationship Building:
· Act as a brand ambassador, representing our senior living residence at community events, local partners, and organizations to raise awareness and build strong relationships.
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with current residents, families, and staff, ensuring excellent service satisfaction.
· Develop and maintain partnerships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, social workers, senior centers, and other relevant community organizations.
· Proactively identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to enhance community visibility and generate qualified leads.
· Attend networking events, seminars, and conferences to promote the senior living community and establish a strong presence in the local community.
· Conduct follow-up calls and visits with residents and families to address any concerns, provide assistance, and foster a sense of community.
· Collaborate with the care team to ensure a seamless transition and admission process for new residents, including regular communication with families.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
· Implement effective sales strategies to generate leads, conduct outreach activities, and follow up with prospective residents and their families.
· Conduct regular market research to identify potential leads and market trends, adapting sales techniques accordingly.
· Conduct tours of the senior living community, effectively showcasing the amenities, services, and benefits to prospective residents and their families.
· Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to build, track and manage leads, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
· Cultivate relationships with referral partners and local healthcare liaisons to create a consistent source of qualified leads
Marketing Coordination:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute outreach campaigns, including direct mailings, online advertisements, social media initiatives, and other marketing materials across a multi site discipline
· Monitor marketing trends and campaign performance and provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
· Assist in the planning and execution of community events, seminars, and workshops aimed at educating and engaging the target audience.
Accountability and Sales Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inquiries, tours, deposits, move-ins and referral sources within the CRM or lead
· Track and report on key performance indicators, including lead volume, tour activity, conversion rates, deposits, move-ins and occupancy levels
· Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential opportunities
· Monitor effectiveness and provide feedback on recommendations to senior management regarding sales strategies, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
· Maintain regular communication with multi-site leadership teams and provide updates on sales performance, lead management, activities, occupancy initiatives, and market trends
· Deliver temporary vacation, leave, or vacancy coverage for site-level Senior Living Advisor positions as required to ensure continuity of sales operations and customer service
· Uphold and promote the values and philosophy of Dalron Senior Living
· Complete all other tasks as assigned.
Dress Requirements:
· Acceptable business attire.
Working Conditions:
· Flexibility in hours worked; evenings and weekends may be required.
· Multi-Site Travel required; vehicle will be provided, or mileage will be reimbursed at current rate.
· Company cell phone or cell phone allowance will be provided.
Compensation and Benefits
· Salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 annually (Bonus incentive based on performance)
