We have a current opportunity for a full-time Painter to join our PCC Concord, Ontario Team. We are looking for a Team player, who takes pride in delivering quality work and providing exceptional results for our customers.
****AFTERNOON SHIFT 3:30PM-12:00AM**** ( Training on Day shift)
Essential Responsibilities:
· Reviews work instruction sheet and selects and mixes the appropriate paint formulation
· Checks viscosity, documents mix log, makes sure all lids are secure and organizes paints accordingly
· Lays out parts on a paint board/tray/cart and verifies quantity.
· Cleans parts and applies primer, top coat and/or dry lubricants in-line with job instructions
· Places sprayed parts in the oven and bakes them to specified temperature
· Cleans all painting equipment and properly stores/labels excess paint
· Completes work instructions sheets to record the work performed
· Requires basic math skills
· Ability to work independently, and in a Team environment, with a strong attention to detail
· Must be able to read and understand blueprints/specifications
· Demonstrated ability to use calipers, rulers and other measuring devices
