Summer Position
Start Date: June 2026

Competitive Compensation Offered

The Haliburton Post House is a fine dining resort located between Haliburton and Minden. We are currently hiring a Full Time Night Auditor to join our dynamic team for the summer! The Night Auditor is the first point of contact at night and the duties include acting as a Front Desk Agent, helping close down the dining room and cleanup, preparing for the morning, and assisting guests with requests.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Front of House Manager or designate:

Provides excellent customer service to all guests;
Welcomes and greets all guests, and executes check-in and check-out procedures;
Answers guest inquiries and provide assistance in a professional manner;
Adheres to all Post House policies and procedures;
Ensures guest security by proper handling of guest room keys and personal information;
Helps front of house and kitchen staff with clean up at end of day, polish glasses, cutlery, clean and refresh coffee/beverage station;
Sets up dining room and help preps for breakfast service;
Follows up on guest requests and resolves problems promptly;
Performs any other job-related duties as assigned;
Provides a nightly report for Front of House Manager;

What We are Looking for...

Passion for customer service, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, computer literate, fast learner;
Organized and able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;
Proficient in using apps and general tech skills
Experience with booking systems such as Cloudbeds and Open Table an asset.
Excellent communications skills, written and oral;
Works well under pressure in a changing environment;
Ability to work with minimal supervision;
Must be able to work evenings and overnights including weekends and holidays;
The shift will typically be 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with some flexibility based on guest/service needs. and must be flexible from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
