Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Breakfast / Housekeeping Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and breakfast spaces, ensuring every guest experiences comfort and satisfaction. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to the overall excellence of our hospitality service, making each stay memorable. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in cleaning, custodial work, and hospitality operations within a vibrant team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and breakfast areas by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment.
Conduct detailed floor care activities including carpet cleaning and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring surfaces.
Assist with breakfast service setup by arranging food displays, refilling stations, and ensuring hygiene standards are met throughout service hours.
Follow established janitorial procedures for waste disposal, sanitation practices, and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth daily operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial tasks while maintaining a positive attitude that encourages teamwork.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services with a focus on detailed attention to cleanliness.
Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types.
Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service standards.
Strong understanding of hospitality principles with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following health and safety guidelines.
Experience in industrial cleaning practices or custodial management is a plus for handling larger-scale cleaning projects.
