Job Title: Geospatial Data Processing Technician (Trimble, Applanix)
Location: Hybrid; 3 days onsite in Mississauga, On

About the Opportunity
Join a specialized team supporting high-accuracy trajectory processing for aerial survey programs. You will help transform raw GNSS and IMU files into reliable SBET outputs that power downstream LiDAR and imagery workflows.
This role sits within a professional services environment in the geospatial sector. You will collaborate with senior geomatics specialists, learn proven methods, and contribute to projects used by public and private organizations across Canada. This is for an existing vacancy.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll process SBETs and related geo-positioning data from raw GNSS/INS inputs.
- In this role, you’ll run trajectories and quality checks in Applanix POSPac and related tools.
- You’ll organize inputs and outputs, track metadata, and follow naming conventions and QA steps.
- You’ll collaborate with LiDAR and imagery teams to hand off accurate trajectories for downstream use.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1–2 years of geomatics, geodesy, or survey experience.
- Exposure to Trimble and Applanix ecosystems, ideally including POSPac.
- Familiarity with aerial LiDAR and/or aerial imagery workflows is an asset.
- Detail-driven mindset, ability to follow SOPs, and comfort with file management and QC logs.
