We are looking for a Furniture Specifier and Bids/Sales Support to join our dynamic Team at our Casegoods Division in Kitchener. If you have a passion for design and furniture are motivated, enjoy challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment we would love to hear from you!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports sales reps with product specifications and pricing using CAP Specifier.
- Checks output to price lists, recognizing that there can be errors in CAP prices, before sending and advises Marketing of errors identified.
- Prepares 2D and 3D drawings using CAP and incorporates AutoCAD drawings of specials that have been created by Engineering (spec drawings) after re-sizing the drawings to mesh with CAP.
- Renders drawings when required using Google Sketch-up or similar software.
- Provides bid responses including specification, pricing, confirming alignment with technical requirements, and bid package preparation.
- Maintains the bid log and engineering requests log.
- Checks web-sites for potential new opportunities for Krug.
- Provides assistance with sales coordination tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 or 3-year college diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Trained working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- 1 to 2 years working experience as an Interior Designer or related occupation.
- Experience with and/or aptitude to learn simple rendering software such as Google Sketch-up.
This position is full time on-site at our Casegoods division in Kitchener.
