JOB SUMMARY –
The Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports revenue growth and customer engagement by coordinating sales activities, managing customer communications, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring timely processing of requests for quotes (RFQs), sales orders, and customer inquiries while maintaining accurate records within the Epicor ERP system.
Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and leadership teams, the Inside Sales & Marketing Coordinator contributes to business planning, order management, and market intelligence efforts. The role combines customer service, sales coordination, and marketing support to improve customer experience, strengthen brand visibility, and support the company’s sales pipeline.
This position is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and supporting both operational sales processes and marketing initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES –
Sales Support & Lead Management:
- Generate and qualify sales leads to support the company’s business development pipeline.
- Follow up on price quotations and RFQs to advance opportunities and support deal closure.
- Use strategic questioning and customer engagement to move opportunities through the sales process.
- Support revenue growth by identifying opportunities to improve margins and strengthen customer relationships.
Customer Service & Order Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely and professional communication.
- Coordinate sales order entry, updates, and order tracking through the Epicor ERP system.
- Maintain the order book and ensure accurate tracking of RFQs, quotations, and active customer orders.
- Support internal coordination between Sales, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Ensure customer information, pricing, and order details are accurately recorded in ERP systems.
Business Planning & Forecasting:
- Participate in semi-annual business planning activities.
- Assist with forecasting sales performance and revenue projections for upcoming periods.
- Support development of business plans that align customer needs with company objectives.
Market Intelligence & Customer Insights:
- Build relationships with customers to gather market insights, competitive information, and vendor intelligence.
- Monitor customer trends, feedback, and market developments to support sales and marketing strategies.
- Share relevant market insights with internal teams to support strategic decision-making.
Marketing Coordination:
- Support marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, social media engagement, and promotional activities.
- Assist with brand management and marketing communications that strengthen the company’s market presence.
- Coordinate marketing materials and support participation in industry events or trade shows.
Internal Collaboration:
- Act as an advocate for customer needs while ensuring alignment with internal capabilities and company objectives.
- Provide support to internal departments to ensure effective communication and coordination across teams.
- Maintain organized documentation and reporting related to sales activities and customer interactions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES –
Knowledge:
- Understanding of sales processes including lead generation, quoting, and order management.
- Knowledge of marketing principles including digital marketing, brand management, and market positioning.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Epicor and their use in sales order management and customer data tracking.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing environments and technical products considered an asset.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Effective negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple sales opportunities and customer requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE –
- Degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales coordination roles considered an asset.
- Experience working with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, considered beneficial.
- Experience supporting marketing initiatives, digital marketing, or brand management considered an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment considered an asset.
WORKING CONDITIONS –
- Primarily office-based role during standard business hours.
- Sitting: approximately 80% of the workday performing computer-based work including customer communication, sales order management, ERP data entry, and marketing coordination.
- Walking: approximately 10–15% of the workday attending meetings, collaborating with internal teams, or supporting operational coordination.
- Standing: approximately 5–10% of the workday during meetings or administrative activities.
- Extended computer use and repetitive keyboarding required due to high volume of customer communication and ERP system usage.
- Frequent communication with customers, internal departments, and external partners.
- Mandatory use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when accessing production areas.
- Occasional participation in customer meetings, industry events, or trade shows may be required.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
